Dr. Sadowsky received his DDS degree in 1968 and his Master of Science degree in Orthodontics in 1971 from the University of Illinois. Dr. Sadowsky is a full professor in the Department of Orthodontics at the University of Illinois. He has been a faculty member since 1976. Dr. Sadowsky is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics (board certified). This is an achievement that only 25% of orthodontist have attained.
Dr. Sadowsky is actively involved in orthodontic research. He has numerous articles in national professional journals and chapters in orthodontic textbooks, and has given presentations nationally and internationally.
The Illinois Society of Orthodontics awarded Dr. Sadowsky the 2002 Outstanding Teacher Award.
Dr. Sadowsky is married, has two adult daughters, and is the proud grandfather of 4 boys.
