Dr. Shane Fisher is Board Certified in Pediatric Dentistry. He attended Indiana University for his DDS degree and the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin for his post-graduate training in pediatric dentistry. He is a member of the medical/dental staff at Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin in Milwaukee and Evanston Northwestern Hospital. He is part of the teaching faculty at these hospitals as well.
Dr. Fisher is constantly taking courses in his specialty to stay on top on new developments in pediatric dentistry. In addition to being certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support, he is certified by the American Heart Association in teaching CPR to other health care providers. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, and Chicago Dental Association and Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity. He is a diplomat in the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry as well.
Annually, he enjoys traveling to Guatemala to perform free dental services to children and adults in a severely underserved area in this world. He has special interests in treating the highly anxious child, hospital and sedation dentistry and trauma.
